Kannada Actors Diganth Manchale and Aindrita Ray who were dating each other for more than 8 years finally tied the knot in Discovery Village near Nandi Hills, Karnataka on 12th December 2018&nbsp; with showers of blessings in a close-knit yet fancy wedding affaire that comprised minimally of the guests.&nbsp; They both were in a strong relationship since they together worked for a film Manasaare in 2009.

Going eco-friendly, the couple who is a nature lover stressed on a no wastage policy. Even their wedding invite included a hamper of recycled wood. It contained an olden day glass jar with medi pickle (from Maland), rosogullas, and came wrapped in jute and lace. Their wedding card has their name initials ‘D&amp;A’ on it and a line saying ‘Bong weds Boms’ referring to Diganth’s Bomman and Brahmin roots. Both Aindrita and Diganth wanted to keep the nuptial private, for close friends and families.

For the pre-wedding ceremonies which happened earlier, the couple was seen at their respective residences. It was comprised of three small functions typically seen in every ordinary wedding- Haldi, Mehendi, and Sangeet. The couple was color-coded with hues of yellow on them for the conduct of these small ceremonies. Diganth’s friends organized special skits and dance performances for the Mehandi and Haldi ceremonies. The couple was seen dancing together, eating, and partying well with their bunch of friends.

&nbsp;The couple looked stunning with raw silk on them in contrasting shades of red and white for the wedding outfits. Designer Paresh Lamba designed the wedding outfits for the couple. While the bride wore a pure Silk saree in red with goldwork draped in a Bengali style with Shakha and Pola (red and white bangles which is a symbol of a Bengali bride) to ideally match the outfit along with some real jewelry, the groom was seen in a white kurta pajama with a Nehru Coat over it to complete the look. Instead of henna on the hands and feet, there was Aalta, an integral essence of a Bengali bride.

The pictures of the wedding were viral in just a few hours after being shared on social media. As the bride and the groom entered the celebration area ensembled in typical Bengali attire, they both gave each other a smile with a future in it. The trumpets and the drums were played endlessly for their royal entrance at the venue with some Bollywood songs to take over it to the next level.

The venue had ever-so mesmerizing ambiance all dolled up for the extravagant wedding. It was a typical Bengali wedding as the actress is a Bengali by religion. Each detail at the venue was seen designed with elegance and magnificence with real flower décor to the breathtaking ambiance. The finely designed furnishings and the royal décor was just feast to the eyes. The Mandap was not less than an umbrella with intricate decorations with rows of chairs in front of it for the guests to sit and see the beautiful couple taking the wedding vows for life. Brahmans were seen chanting wedding mantras for the couple.&nbsp; From the entrance to the delectable food to the décor, and everything around was just flawless.

Followed by the wedding, the couple planned to host a Cocktail Party cum Reception on December 15, 2018, at Ritz Carlton, Bangaluru for all the Kannada stars from the industry and a few of the Bollywood stars. The couple was dressed in gold shimmer outfits and looked fabulous for the special day. The wedding saw many popular faces from Sandalwood in attendance- Actors Sudeep, Darshan, Prajwal Devraj, Prem, Director Yogaraj Bhat among many others.

They tied the knot on December 11, 2017, in a private ceremony in Tuscany, Italy. Their wedding was the most talked about event in the year. All aspects of the wedding starting from the venue to the outfits that the couple wore for every wedding ritual looked stunning and picturesque. After coming back to India, the couple hosted a wedding reception in New Delhi at Taj Palace on December 21, 2017. Following two successful wedding events, Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma hosted another wedding reception in Mumbai on December 26, 2017, at Astor Ballroom in St. Regis. The Astor Ballroom has a maximum capacity of around 784 guests and hence was a perfect venue choice for the reception cause the guest list included both Bollywood and cricket celebrities. Anushka Sharma looked charismatic in a&nbsp;smoky grey lehenga curated by none other than Sabyasachi Mukherjee. It had silver threads, textured sequins, and cut organza flowers that were assembled on an embroidered tulle base. The look was complemented with jewellery from the Sabyasachi bridal collection and consisted of rose-cut diamonds, solitaires, briolette’s, and Japanese baroque pearls. Virat Kohli looked charming in an indigo velvet navy bandhgala along with an ivory Jodhpuri trouser from Raghavendra Rathore. The management team at St. Regis created a floral background at the venue where the paparazzi took photos of the couple and the guests who attended the event. The floral theme gave all the photos an enchanted look!

Clearly, the level of thought that went into the venue arrangements was high, and seems like&nbsp;Virushka sure did achieve the vintage yet voguish backdrop that complemented their outfits so well and heightened the aesthetic value of the whole event, all thanks to the Taj Palace Hotel, New Delhi.



Since Delhi is Virat Kohli’s hometown, there were around 500 guests which included mostly family and a few friends as well. It doesn’t come as a surprise that they chose the Durbar Hall of the Taj Palace as their preferred venue cause the Durbar hall is one of Delhi’s largest conference and reception venues with a maximum capacity of 1000 guests.



Taj Palace also made sure that tight security was provided for the celebrities who attended the reception. The roads to the venue were completely blocked and entry was also restricted in the Taj Palace Hotel to ensure the highest level of security for the event. Prime Minister Narendra Modi also attended the reception to congratulate the couple. The list of guests at the reception apart from their families included the cricketers Suresh Raina, Gautham Gambhir and Shikhar Dhawan. There was also a live performance by the famous Punjabi singer Gurdas Maan who sang the song “Sajna ve sajna” and congratulated the couple as well as wished them “a long life”.

Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh, most often referred by their fans as DeepVeer are known to be one of Bollywood’s cutest couple. They are known not only for their on-screen chemistry in the movies ‘Goliyon Ki Rasleela Ram Leela’ and ‘Bajirao Mastani’ but also their off-screen chemistry as well. Although, rumors about their relationship started during the shooting of the Sanjay Leela Bansali directed movie ‘Ram Leela’, the couple never confirmed this news officially till the year 2018 when they announced that they were going to tie the knot in an intimate ceremony in Villa del Balbianello in Lake Como, Italy.

After coming back to India, they hosted a wedding reception in The Grand Hyatt, Mumbai on November 28, 2018, for select journalists, industrialists and Ranveer’s extended family and the couple’s close friends. This wedding reception saw Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh twinning in ivory and gold outfits. While Deepika chose to wear a Chikankari lehenga from the Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla label, Ranveer Singh was seen in an ivory and gold kurta along with white palazzo pants from the same label. This event saw the couple sporting colours that were in contrast to their prior wedding reception two days ago. Ranveer Singh looked handsome in a black tuxedo by designer duo Rohit Khanna and Rahul Gandhi and Deepika looked stunning in a blood-red dress by Zuhair Murad. Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh are one of Bollywood’s most loved couple both on-screen and off-screen. They are known for their on-screen chemistry in the movies “Ram Leela” and “Bajirao Mastani” both of which were directed by Sanjay Leela Bansali. Though there were several rumors and speculations that they began dating when they were shooting for the movie “Ram Leela”, the couple officially never gave any confirmation and kept their relationship under the wraps.

Before we delve into the details of their Mumbai reception let us have a look at some of the details of their dreamy and surreal destination wedding.The couple got married on November 14 and 15, 2018, in a Konkani ceremony followed by a Sindhi wedding ceremony. All the intricate details of the venue, food, arrangements were done meticulously.

The wedding theme was floral and to execute this perfectly, 12 florists were flown in from Florence to decorate the villa. The couple had arranged for special chefs to be flown in from Switzerland to Italy to bake the wedding cake and amazing deserts.&nbsp;

The Konkani wedding stretched for approximately 5 hours following which traditional South Indian food like dosa, rice etc. was served in banana leaves. After the Sindhi wedding ceremony on the next day, authentic Sindhi dishes like Koki, Dal Pakwan, Sev, rabdi etc were served to the guests.

The arrangements for the wedding reception were in full swing at the venue and every minute detail was given a lot of importance by the hotel management to ensure that the event went well.

The venue was decorated with beautiful white flowers that not only went well with the celebrity’s outfits but also brought in a touch of the decorations at the couples Italian wedding. The staging area where the couple and guests would be photographed by the paparazzi was also decorated with white flowers. The background worked well with the DeepVeer outfit colours and created magical pics that captured royalty and charm in a single frame.

In this reception, the couple can be seen twinning in ivory and gold outfits designed by Abu Jani- Sandeep Khosla. Deepika looked gorgeous in her ivory chikankari lehenga along with a multi-tiered floral-style necklace from the same label that featured a blend of pearls, pristine white enamel and uncut diamonds set in gold.

Ranveer too looked amazing in his ivory and gold kurta that he had paired with white palazzo pants. Deepika Padukone’s parents – Prakash Padukone and Ujjala Padukone were dressed in white outfits designed by Abu Jani- Sandeep Khosla and her sister Anisha Padukone looked beautiful in white attire as well. On the other hand, Ranveer Singh’s family was dressed in black and looked stunning. On December 2, 2018, following the Christian wedding, Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas got married in a Hindu wedding ceremony at the same venue. Priyanka chose to wear a wedding gown designed by Ralph Lauren for her Christian wedding and for the Hindu wedding she wore a red lehenga from the Sabyasachi label. The lehenga was a hand embroidered masterpiece with French knots in silk floss, delicate red crystals carved on the finest fabric. In 2018, Nick Jonas an American singer and actor proposed to Priyanka Chopra and they made their relationship official. After the official confirmation of their engagement, a lot of speculation began about their wedding venue and many people believed that the venue would mostly be in the US.  For each event, Priyanka and Nick made sure that they added their twist to every wedding ceremony to celebrate the amalgamation of two different cultures and backgrounds. On December 1, 2018, Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas got married in a Christian wedding ceremony and the wedding was officiated by Nick Jonas’s father Paul Kevin Jonas Sr, who is a pastor. The wedding was lavish, dreamy, and surreal to say the least. The bride and groom wore outfits designed by Ralph Lauren. Priyanka Chopra’s wedding gown at the very outset looked exquisite and as she walked down the aisle with a 75-foot long veil in the picturesque background of the palace, the entire scene looked magical.

Following an official announcement about this by the couple, several media reports were released about the two celebrities and their relationship, timeline of events in their relationship, and they also speculated when and where the wedding would be.

The ‘sangeet’ night was a night of “unforgettable memories”, as Priyanka Chopra describes it. The stage that was set for the sangeet perfectly resonated with the mood of the night and it also had the iconic “NP” on a screen along with some purple lights.
