Amongst the classiest affairs of 2017, the Tollywood actors Naga Chaitanya and Samantha Ruth Prabhu got married in a dreamy destination wedding in Goa around October 6th–8th. Samantha&nbsp;and Chay’s wedding were one of the most anticipated events of the year in the industry and the excitement around this adorable couple’s wedding was increasing with every passing hour. The couple had booked an exquisite resort for their D-Day where the total cost for their wedding went up to Rs 10 crore approximately. Back to the story, the two met when they shot together their film, Ye Maya Chesave, which turned out to be super successful which was when, the rumours had started floating that their friendship had started doing the rounds and it was not until quite recently that they announced their relationship and shortly after and got engaged in a fairy-tale-like ceremony.

A specially chartered flight was also arranged for some of the special invitees where they were flown to Goa from Hyderabad.&nbsp;A source, in a statement to a leading daily, said, “It sure might seem like an intimate affair but the family is huge and with so many important people to invite, nearly 150 families have been sent the invitations. Since the event is happening away from the city, it’s possible that some celebrities will not be able to make it due to either their shoot schedules or prior commitments. They will, however, make it to the reception which is being planned in Hyderabad.”

The wedding ceremony took place at the Vagator Beach, Goa and post our analysis, it looked like the mehandi ceremony took place around 3 pm whereas the Hindu wedding took place post around 11.30 pm. The flavour of the Hindu wedding was a notch more traditional with the smell of&nbsp;Haldi&nbsp;and&nbsp;Phool malas in the air. The traditional beige and gold saree worn by Samantha is originally of Naga's grandmothers. Samantha’s wedding ensemble&nbsp;was designed by Kresha Bajaj under her love story lehenga&nbsp;catalogue by Koecsh. The lehenga&nbsp;Samantha donned on her wedding day was crafted using a combination of&nbsp;aari and zardozi&nbsp;embroidery techniques. Kresha had also designed the sari Samantha wore on her engagement ceremony and had also weaved Naga-Samantha’s timeline on the same.

Samantha hand-picked the best moments from her destination wedding to fill up her wedding album making it sweet, spicy, and everything nice. For the Christian wedding, Samantha walked the aisle in an embellished gown from the studios of the designer by Kresha, who had also designed the actress's reception outfit. For the part we know that a couple, who also&nbsp;loves&nbsp;traveling and exploring had finally zeroed in on a place after a month.&nbsp;A close source said, “Chay and Samantha have a long itinerary in place. They are going on a holiday for around 40 days, but they may extend it to two months. As much as they want time together, they respect their work commitments too.” The couple wants this trip to be special because it will be their first as a man and wife.

Sandalwood actor Yogesh is the latest to join the bandwagon of to-be married actors. The actor dated an IT professional Sathiya Urs for more than a decade as they studied at a common school in Yediyur, Bangalore. There is nothing better in the world than marrying your best friend. The actor popped up the proposal only 2 years before they decided to be wedded to which Sathiya turned him down. But eventually, things fell in place and the couple decided to tie the auspicious wedding knot on November 2, 2017, at Sri Convention Centre, Bangalore, and got sealed for the rest of their lives.

The couple got married in a typical Hindu marriage style. There were some pre-wedding ceremonies which were also privately performed. The couple outfitted in simple clothing for their engagement where the bride wore deep green colored traditional raw silk saree with a contrasting blouse and some real jewels over the neck, a maang tika, and green bangles loaded in hands and the groom was seen wearing a decent white shirt and black pant for the same. They exchanged garlands as per the rituals. It was a big ‘Woohoo’ for the special moment in a close-knit gathering.&nbsp;

The wedding venue was magnificent with extravagant decor and quite an impressive ambiance with majestic decor pieces of elephants, flower vases, and marigold floral decor that made the venue look royal with a unique vibe in the air. The stage was beautifully set for the bride and the groom to perform the marriage rituals. The delightful ambiance was a treat to the eyes of the guests. The bride and the groom were welcomed with traditional Dhols and Shenais played by the experts.&nbsp;

The bride was seen wearing a red and white colored pure silk saree, named Kevasu with prominent hair accessories on the traditional braid, a waist belt over the saree, and a maang tika to complete the look. The beautiful Mehandi crafted on Sathiya’s hands had various wedding scenes, while the henna put over the feet looked no less than cinderella shoes. The groom was seen in white dhoti and a kurta with Janaeu as it is considered as one auspicious thing in a Hindu wedding. The family and friend danced well with sheer happiness and welcomed Sathiya with love and respect.

The couple also held a wedding reception the same evening, where top celebrities of the Kannada Film Industry were present to congratulate the newlywed couple. Actor-filmmaker Raghavendra Rajkumar was there with his son Vinay Rajkumar, superstar Puneet Rajkumar came with his wife Ashwini and actors like Ambareesh, Upendra, Rangayana Raghu, Prajwal Devraj, Chiranjeeva Sarja was also in attendance. Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah was one of the high-profile guests at the event.

Salman Khan’s younger sister Arpita Khan got married to Delhi based businessman, Aayush Sharma in a grand destination wedding at the Taj Falaknuma Palace in Hyderabad on 18 November 2014. This was the first wedding in the Khan family after 16 years and they made sure that it was memorable. This royal destination wedding was the most talked about event of that year!

Some of the guests who attended the wedding apart from the families of the bride and groom were Sania Mirza, Aamir Khan, Katrina Kaif, Hrithik Roshan, Karan Johar, Varun Dhawan, Hema Malini, Sajid Nadiadwala etc. The guests from the Telugu film industry included Chiranjeevi, Ram Charan, Nagarjuna, Venkatesh and their families. The venue managers made sure that a high level of security was provided for the event and roads to the venue were also blocked off to ensure smooth functioning of the event.

The theme chosen for the wedding was of course a royal one. The entire palace was decorated in a pink and white décor. The stage had pink and white flower décor and&nbsp; the whole venue had pink lighting, making the entire palace look regal. Arpita Khan looked beautiful in a red and gold lehenga from the label Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla and Aayush looked dapper in a gold sherwani with Swarovski beads of crystal glass designed by the Hyderabadi Makhdoom brothers and it was a gift to Aayush from the Makhdoom brothers to Aayush as a gesture of affection towards the Khan family. &nbsp;

Salman Khan had booked all the 60 rooms in the hotel for the event. This palace has the world’s largest dining table with 101 seats! And since the event is taking place in such a royal fashion the food menu was also nothing less than a royal feast. The food menu included Hyderabadi special dishes like the Hyderabadi Dum Biryani, Haleem, Pathar ka Gosht (meat cooked on stone), etc.

The stage décor at the venue was equally stunning. The stage had beautiful flowers in the background and also in two big vases on either side of the stage. Even during their wedding, the couple had made sure that apart from the usual focus given to the backdrop of the stage, equal attention was given to the entire stage area, which is why they had a traditional lamp on either side of the stage during their wedding and a rangoli on the floor as well. Here too, the entire stage was decorated, with huge vases on either side, a garden décor at the entrance of the stage and of course the picturesque background setting of the stage!

The traditional antique jewellery that she had worn complimented the outfit well and made her look gorgeous! A floral décor was chosen as the theme and the venue managers made sure that the décor brought out all the elements of a South Indian wedding and created an ambience that was perfect for the occasion. The décor provides a picturesque backdrop in the photos and overall, the pics look stunning! The stage décor was done brilliantly as well by the venue managers. The mandap had a hanging floral décor along with marigold flowers in the background. The thatched banana leaves along with the ‘Kuthu Vilakku’ (traditional lamp) arranged on either side of the stage along with the beautiful rangoli drawn on the stage floor, made the entire stage look dreamy and surreal!

Salman Khan’s younger sister Arpita Khan’s wedding with Delhi based businessman, Aayush Sharma at the Taj Falaknuma Palace Hotel was a royal affair and the most talked about event of the year 2014! And why would it not be? It had covered all aspects of a dreamy, destination wedding and the fact that it was in a palace made it a fairy-tale wedding!

The wedding took place according to Hindu-Punjabi rituals and was an intimate event with around 250 guests at the venue. The guest list included celebrities from the Hindi and Telugu film fraternity as well as politicians. Some of the guests who attended the wedding apart from the families of the bride and groom were Aamir Khan, Katrina Kaif, Hrithik Roshan, Karan Johar, Varun Dhawan, Hema Malini, Sajid Nadiadwala etc. The guests from the Telugu film industry included Chiranjeevi, Ram Charan, Nagarjuna, Venkatesh and their families. The venue managers made sure that a high level of security was provided for the event and ensured that fans and paparazzi are not allowed to enter the venue. Inside the venue premises, Salman Khan had his security personnel along with the hotel security to ensure smooth functioning of the event.

The Khan family had booked all the 60 rooms in the palace for the event and the wedding celebrations started in full swing when Aayush led the baraat at 4.30 pm followed by the varmaala and pheras. The wedding décor had a pink and white theme. The stage was decorated in pink and white flowers and the whole palace had pink lighting, making the whole palace look regal. Arpita looked stunning in a red and gold lehenga designed by Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla and Aayush looked handsome in a gold sherwani , studded with Swarovski beads of crystal glass, and designed by Hyderabadi Makhdoom brothers.

The wedding was followed by a post-wedding party in the evening. Arpita was seen wearing a beautiful white lehenga and Aayush looked dapper in a velvet sherwani. The couple along with Salman Khan also stepped outside for some time to pose for the paparazzi. It was a fun-filled night with many events. Salman Khan, Aamir Khan, Varun Dhawan performed at the event and it is said that even Katrina Kaif performed in the grand wedding bash. One of the highlights of the post-wedding reception is also the 150 kgs cake prepared by Mumbai based baker Pooja Dhingra. The multi-tiered cake was prepared by seven bakers and took 3 days to finish! The cake was assembled at the Taj Falaknuma. And all that hard work shows on the cake because it’s a well-crafted, magnanimous and sumptuous looking cake! It consisted of gold macarons, sugar flowers, gold foil on which the initials of the bride and groom -AA were engraved! The wedding feast that was organized was a royal treat as well. It included flavours and dishes from the pearl city and land of Nawabs, Hyderabad! Some of the dishes were Hyderabadi biryani, Pathar ka gosht (meat cooked on stone), Haleem etc. Taj Falaknuma is known for its amazing food and the world’s largest dining table with 101 seats.! A Grand Post-Wedding Party of Salman Khan's Sister Arpita Khan with Aayush Sharma took place in Hyderabad

Television actor Kiran Srinivas, who as last seen playing the role of Dr. Jitendra Kumar Srivastava in Beyhadh, is now a married man. The handsome actor got married on December 2, 2019, to his longtime girlfriend and Kannada actress Hitha Chandrashekar in the south Indian ceremony. The wedding was short of rich culture and elaborated South Indian traditions. They met each other during the shoot of a Kannada film and became friends. Soon their friendship grew stronger with time and they decided to settle down. The two got engaged in Bangalore in August 2019 followed by their wedding in December.

Kiran and Hitha got married in an intimate ceremony which was attended by their family and close friends. The ceremonies took place in their home town city of Bangalore. They chose Panchavati The Pavilion, off Kanakpura Road in Bangalore for their Muhurtham. The place has a very pleasant aesthetic and has South Indian charm. Ditching the elaborated floral decore for the venue, the couple chose the venue management team which was very eco-friendly in terms of water conservation, waste segregation, and plastic usage and only decorated the pond with beautiful lotus near the mandap.

The two looked beautiful.

The second half of the day was dedicated to Mehandi. The venue was decorated with vibrant handmade paper fans, kites of different colors making the place very cozy yet enjoyable for the bride to spend quality time with her loved ones. Hitha looked stunning in a pink dress paired with minimal jewellery. Varepuja is a ceremony performed a day before the wedding ceremony to welcome the bridegroom and his family. This time Hitha went out of the box and wore a beautiful purple and green saree paired with a jacket blouse. Her hair was tied in braids and was dolled up by Ashwini.

The couple chose for a day wedding. The fun affair took place outside near the pond. The venue was decorated with yellow and orange flowers that complemented the lush greenery of the place. Hitha chose a green silk saree designed by Tejasvini Krati and to complement his bride, Kiran wore a silk dhoti. The wedding was organized keeping in mind the environment, thus instead of using plastic glasses, they went with steel tumblers, bowls, spoons, and other cutleries. The food was served on banana leaves and water was served in steel glasses which could be easily refilled again. Receiving the blessing of their friends and families, the couple started their journey as husband and wife.

On the morning of 26 May 2019, the lovely couple tied their knot at the Palace grounds with close family members and friends. The couple looked blissful in their Traditional Indian attire. Yuva wore a half-white zari shirt and dhoti while Sridevi matched the look with a gorgeous red Kanchipuram zari saree with temple jewellery.
