<p>A Punjabi pre-wedding affair, the <strong>jaggo ceremony</strong> includes singing and dancing with family and friends. The location for the Jaggo ceremony had been beautifully decorated. The location was decked with beautiful marigold flowers arranged in exquisite patterns and arrangements. Bani was dressed in a vibrant <strong>yellow lehenga</strong>, designed by the leading Indian designer, <strong>Sabyasachi</strong>, which went really well with the theme of the whole event. <strong>Prerna Khullar </strong>was the make-up artist behind Bani's gorgeous makeup for the ceremony.&nbsp;</p>



<p>The whole evening was filled with picture-perfect moments, thanks to the beautiful decorations and overall ambience of the venue.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Across Indian weddings, the <strong>Mehendi ceremony</strong> starts with the arrival of Mehendi from the groom's side for the bride. During the ceremony, the to-be-bride's hands and feet are beautified with the rich, dark hue of the Mehendi paste.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The <strong>wedding ceremony </strong>took place in the grand setting of<strong> Haveli Empress Raj Mahal</strong>. The venue was beautifully decorated to celebrate the union of Bani and Rahul. The wedding was a majestic affair. Bani wore a gorgeous <strong>peach Anarkali suit</strong> by <strong>Tarun Tahilani </strong>and was decked up in <strong>Tanishq jewellery</strong>. <strong>Joban Sandhu</strong>, the artist behind Kohl Eyes by Jo, made Bani look absolutely jaw-droppingly beautiful for her special day. The wedding was an emotional rollercoaster as the newlyweds embarked on their new journey together.&nbsp;</p>

The bride, in her <strong>Anamika Khanna's pink lehenga</strong>, looked absolutely stunning. Prerna Khullar was the bride's choice for make-up and hair. The reception marked an end to the dreamlike celebrations that took place over the past couple of days.&nbsp;</p>

They kept the ceremony a close-knit one with about 100 guests, and it was held at the prestigious <strong>Tournament Players Club, Kuala Lumpur</strong>. The bride walked down the aisle with her brother, It was a very emotional moment for her. Following the ceremony, everyone joined them on the dance floor. They served their guest’s authentic Malaysian cuisine to give them a feel of the country. For this occasion, Kiren chose a strapless <strong>white dress</strong> with a long <strong>embroidered veil</strong> and Mayank kept it simple in a<strong> navy blue tuxedo.</strong></p>

<p class="has-text-align-left">A poolside <strong>Haldi ceremony</strong> filled with colors and laughter, Kiren’s Haldi was held at her building’s clubhouse. Most of them dressed up in yellow. They had so much fun applying Haldi that they ran out of turmeric paste and that was how the ceremony came to an end. Mayank’s Haldi was a traditional Hindu ceremony and the groomsmen wore identical tee shirts with his picture and the duo’s wedding hashtag on them. It was a very enduring and intimate ceremony.</p>

The chooda is possibly the most important accessory that a bride wears during her wedding. Kiren's chooda ceremony was held at her family’s home in <strong>Selangor, Malaysia</strong>. All her uncles and brothers took turns to put her ‘chura’ (bridal bangles) on and bless her. For this ceremony, Kiren picked a <strong>red and mint green lehenga</strong> with golden embroidery which she paired with a <strong>choker</strong> and matching earrings.</p>

From the bride-to-be to all the females in the house gather together for a fun-filled evening/noon and adorn their hands with beautiful, flowers, birds, and abstract henna design patterns. <p class="has-text-align-left">The couple decided to merge the sangeet and cocktail party. The party was held at the <strong>Galaxy Banquet Hall</strong>. A proper sit-down dinner for 500 guests with an open bar was arranged. Beautiful lights, loud music, and a dedicated dance floor set the mood perfectly. The decor included pieces of caricature taken from the invitation cards and were transformed into large size cutouts with beaming light bulbs. The bride's brothers and uncles also decided to wear the same outfit. Mayank’s turban was tied by his best friends which meant a great deal to him. The<strong> Anand Karaj </strong>was held in both Punjabi and English for all to understand the significance of the four laavans taken by the couple. The most noteworthy moment for the bride was when her mother performed her ‘Palla’ ceremony which was performed by a prominent male figure in the family. Her mother raised her single-handedly and played a major role in shaping the woman she is today. Kiren’s dreamy  <strong>Lavender lehenga</strong> was simple and elegant. She accessorized her outfit with a statement necklace encrusted with baby pink gemstones. Mayank’s outfit too was on the minimalistic side with a<strong> lilac shawl</strong> and turban with gold accents. Both Priyal and Shiv decided to go for <strong>floral decor </strong>for their Roka ceremony. The colorful and elegant vibe made the event joyful and full of happy faces. Families were dancing and mingling with each other. Priyal selected a <strong>yellow lehenga</strong> with very decent work and paired it with long Earings and a beautiful neckpiece. <p>The <strong>Mehandi </strong>ceremony was a quirky day event with a lot of colours. The decor included all floral arrangements. They decided to keep the colour theme as yellow and blue. There were different seating arrangements for both bride and the groom. There were wine bottles decorated and hung on the blue backdrop adding to a perfect decor idea. Everyone was dancing and singing. All the females from both the families including the bride designed their hands with beautiful patterns. This time Priyal decided to go for a very simple yet elegant <strong>Ritu Kumar Lehenga</strong>. The design was very different and unique just perfect for a day event. <p>The <strong>sangeet </strong>ceremony was the most elegant of all the events. They tried to keep it classy and fresh. From the outfits to the decor everything complemented each other. But one thing people just couldn’t stop talking about was the mesmerizing outfits of the couple. Priyal wore the most trendy hand embroidered blouse paired with a<strong> </strong>structured metallic<strong> silver lehenga</strong> by<strong> Amit Agarwal</strong>. She kept it simple and paired it with long diamond earrings. Shiv wore a <strong>blue suit</strong> with a <strong>bow</strong>. <p>After a lot of preparation and planning finally, the day arrived when both Priyal and Shiv tied the knot at <strong>ITC Maurya</strong> and became one single soul. Shiv entered in a unique car for their baarat with his friends and family. Priya entered the venue with her brothers. Her brothers hold a floral chaadar above her head. They then exchanged garlands. All the other rituals took place later. Priyal decided to wear a <strong>red lehenga</strong> by <strong>Anamika Khanna</strong> for her wedding day. She paired it with a heavy diamond and Polki jewellery. Shiv wore a heavy <strong>beige sherwani</strong>. They both looked amazing and elegant.</p>

<p>Actress Ashwathy Warrier, who was seen in films such as Neethane En Ponvasantham and Maan Karate, got hitched to beau Abhilash Panicker, in the most innovative, quirky, and liveliest wedding one could have ever imagined. The adorable duo tied the knot on 6th December 2017 at Le Meridian Cochin, and for the grand wedding reception, they opted for MRC Chennai and it was a stunning riot of colors, visionary lights along with some ecstatic music to dance their heart away.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Maintaining both tradition and modernity, the gorgeous wanted everything to be perfect. They decided to go for a North-Indian themed event with a lot of red, gold, and cream elements. The decorators turned MRC, Chennai into a beautiful venue with a grand ambiance! The decorators worked very hard with all the arrangements and turned the venue into an absolute paradise. The ethereal decor was finalized by Mehak Decorations which is the Chennai based decor company. Ashwathy fell in love with their work.</p>

<p>For the outfits, inspired by North-India, the couple wore color-coordinated clothes. The groom wore a bright red Sherwani and looked dapper in it. As for the bride, a beautiful red lehenga with golden handwork on it was seen. She accessorized with a traditional gold necklace paired with earrings and completed the entire look with a gorgeous and elegant Maang-tikka. The hair and make-up were done by Ibrahim and Vijay Raghavan, Chennai based make-up artists. The couple looked absolutely magnificent together. They truly complimented each other in every possible sense.</p>

<p>Well there’s something about us Indians, we have always dreamt about some dramatic and filmy wedding, right?! We just love to celebrate our special day, the ‘filmy way’! The same followed for Ashwathy and Abhilash. The iconic duo, along with cousins and close friends developed a music video! Everyone lip-synced and shook their legs to the popular ‘Im a Mallu’ number, originally released by Rinosh George, a Bangalorean. Within days, the video went viral, everyone fancied the exhilarating video. The lip-dub idea was presented by Divya Warrier who is a Bombay based choreographer and happens to be Ashwathy's sister as well. <p>In a super casual meeting that happened 5 years ago at Bengaluru, Chetan and Megha were introduced through some common friends. Despite having careers that were poles apart, it was one thing that brought soon to be lovers together, it was "Social Work". Megha was working as an Engineer and Chetan had already begun his acting career. Megha, who was involved in the social work wing at her company, had been educating underprivileged children, fundraising for flood relief victims, and spearheading environmentally-conscious initiatives and Chetan had left the US to do grassroots mobilization in Karnataka in 2005, had been uniting progressive forces that included farmers, laborers, women, subaltern, LGBTQ, students, and youth from across the state. When two people are meant to be together, there is nothing that can stop them. The friendship began to grow stronger due to their shared priorities and extending dreams of an impartial, ideal world.</p>

They got their marriage officiated through the Special Marriage Act on 1st February 2017 and decided to have a wedding reception the next day. The wedding vows included three special vows that included, a Personal Vow that symbolized love, respect, and responsibility towards each other, a Social Vow that included responsibility for society and focused on eradicating injustice and discrimination and lastly, a Nature vow that included consideration and compassion for animals, plants, birds and all the nature.</p>

<p>On their wedding reception, great personalities from all walks of life made an appearance. Among the attendees were actor Puneeth Rajkumar and his wife, Ashwini; politicians Lakshmi Hebbalkar, Dinesh Gundu Rao, and H Anjaneya, to name a few. The cultural performances included dance performances by Lambani and the Siddi communities in Karnataka, philosophical and Sufi songs, and songs about the Constitution. In return gifts, the couple presented a copy of the Constitution of India and the aim behind that was to share their ideals of working towards an equal society.</p>

The bride was wearing a designer lehenga with heavy jewellery. Her makeup was on point. Everything was beyond perfect and everyone was happy at the event. The Wedding went flawlessly smooth. She was looking regal in her golden themed outfit, it looked elite and glittery. The groom was wearing a suit. They looked lovely together.
